Viel Freude damit.

It's early 2011, and we take a look back at 2010. One of the most successful and impressive EM festivals in Germany has been the Electronic Circus of last year. Great artists, great atmosphere, and lots of fun. This two volume episode gives you excerpts of live recordings as well as of the just released interviews done at the Circus. Of course, lots of music, and in volume one you will get tracks by Computerchemist, Deep Imagination, Harald Grosskopf & Udo Hanten, MorPheuSz, and Nattefrost.

Continuing with re-viewing the Electronic Circus. In volume 2 of this episode we take a listen to the main act of 2010, Spyra & Lang, with two temendous tracks. But also get to know about a label and artists new to the Circus, and new to Germany, with Mirai from England and Glenn from Norway.

Female musicians are a rare thing in Electronic Music so when we played live at a garden party in Germany and saw Matzumi perform it was something special. Matzumi's music is a mixture of Tangerine Dream, Jarre and Ambient soundscapes with a great feeling for detail and sound her music is beautiful.
At that party and also last week in Bielefeld we invited her on stage to add her great voice to our music. Yes! Matzumi also sings on her albums, much in the way Lisa Gerrard does with Klaus Schulze.
Her warm timbre and use of effects processing is very musically, it is one with her music. I played Matzumi before on Dreamscape radio and this week we have another track for you to dive in to her music.
And we have her CD „Sometimes“ now in our catalog.
Even if you don't like vocals in Electronic Music you should check out this. The music is stunningly beautiful but with the voice it becomes unique!!
For all who listen to and love EM.

|Sonolab 173 - Livestream / On Demand Stream|
|Posted Sun Oct 24, 2010 5:28 pm by ChrisX|
Have prepared the next episode of Sonolab and tonight's show has a very distinctive 80s feel to it. The show is on every Sunday evening from 19:00 hrs to 20:00 hrs and tonight will feature music by:
Future World Orchestra, Stephen Whitlan, Wavestar, Michael Garrison, Steve Roach, Mark Shreeve, Michael Stearn and Paul Ward.
Click on "Live stream" in the left column or for a week after broadcast the whole show is available as an On Demand Stream from the website of our radiostation. Where can you find that? Well, here of course:
and then click "Luister naar uitzending gemist" in the middle of the screen. A second window will open up (might be that you have to accept that through your pop-up killer) and the show starts (with a bit of that evenings 19:00 hours news first).
Check in if you have the time and let me know what you think of the show.
